Four PAX shook off the effects of Christmas Eve food and spirits for a Christmas morning upper-body assault…

WARM-UP:

Jog around ASEC parking lot, mixing in karaoke, buttkickers, high knees, backpedals.

Jog to the shelter, COP:

• SSH x 20
• Cotton pickers x 15

THE THANG:

Merken Mania Tabata:

45 second activity / 15 second rest tabata for 30 minutes

Each minute:

• 10 hand-release merkens
•  One of various exercises for the remainder of the 45 seconds:
  • Supermans
  • High knees
  • Air squats
  • Bench dips
  • LBCs
  • Pot stirrers
  • Cotton pickers
• Repeato for 30 minutes

MOLESKIN:

Four-man turnout was impressive considering what day it is.  We knocked out 300 hand-release merkens in 30 minutes, I think we’ll all be feeling the effects for the next few days.  Just imagine doing that every day for an entire month, and you’ll have an idea of what our Highlands brethren accomplished during Merkvember last month.
