32 degrees and clear and beautiful as 11 PAX built up the muscles to handle our manly Christmas duties.  Our workout was greatly enhanced by the wafting aroma of dead skunk that filled our area of operation with a smell as pleasant as Christmas trees, hot chocolate, and baking cookies.

Warmarama

• Mosey around ASEC to back parking lot
• SSH x 30 IC
• Mosey to rock pile and pick a rock
• Imperial Stormtroopers x 30 IC
• Mosey to gravel bags and grab a bag
• Arm circles front and back
• Mosey back to rocks

The Thang

Strength-building activities alternating between rocks and bags with added fun thrown in between two cones set up on the driveway on the trips back-and-forth.

• Overhead rock press x 30
• Sprint cone to cone
• Bag burpees x 15 (3 sets of 5)
• Sprint cone to cone
• Rock curls x 30
• Bear crawl cone to cone
• Bag goblet squats x 30
• Bear crawl cone to cone
• Rock skull crushers x 30 (2 sets of 15)
• Crab walk cone to cone
• Bag bench press x 30
• Crab walk cone to cone
• Merkins x 30 switching hand on rock (3 sets of 10)
• Lunge walk cone to cone
• Rabbit hop over bags spread out 2-3 feet apart – repeato x 3

Mary

• Core crushers for around 1 minute
• LBC’s x 30 IC
• Plank until Q’s watch turned to 6:15, which ended up being about 2.58 seconds

Moleskin

• We have 10 gravel bags in case anyone wants to know for future reference.
• Dead skunks really do stink.
• Great effort by a great group of guys.
