14 men hit ASEC to celebrate a pretty useless Anniversary, nobody really cares about 11 years.  At least the weather was cool.

Warm up:

Butt kickers, high knees and soldier kicks up to the upper lot for

• SSH x 15
• IST x 10
• Loose Change x 5
• Arm Circles,

Grab a plate to start

THANG

First round all together for a circuit around the AO, stopping at the end of each arm of the parking lot, running the length of the arm and back and down to the next:

Rock Lot- 11 curl-push press-skull crushers

First arm – 11 merks

Second arm – 11 squats

Third arm – 11 dips at Mary

4th arm – 11 Core Killers

Then a choice to mosey back up the normal ASEC driveway or around the point back to the rock lot and repeato.  Pax opted for a mixture.  Most got 4-6 circuits depending on speed and choice of mosey.  Time called around 6:04 to return to the rock lot for a quick pec ripper:

Chest press reps with your chosen weight of: 30-25-20-15-10 reps.

Prayers for Tenley w/ Loveboat’s youth group and her physical ailments, Prayers for the family of Dr. Fulghum, and for Trick’s family after the passing of his sister-in-law.  Also thanks for 11 years of this.

MOLESKIN

Most got between 2 and 2.5 miles.  Lots of reps.  Chesticles gonna be sore.  Good to have Brinkley visiting from Highlands to get his Passport stamped.  Come back anytime!

11 years is a pretty long time.  11 years ago I was caught in a dead end lawyer job with no exit in sight, and now I’ve escaped!  11 years ago Mayweather had a news story about how he had to leave his teaching job to “pay the rent” (severe misnomer), and now he’s basically J.P. Morgan.  11 years ago Circuit Rider and Loveboat were in high school.  11 years ago Indy only went to Scotland twice a year.  11 years ago Marlboro was damn near childfree.  11 years ago Tombstone drank 12 Miller Lites every day…well I guess not everything changes.

Lots of men have come and gone through this group, but there is a very strong core of men who have grown this thing.  I am thankful for Indy, KGB, TP, and those others who have helped plant this thing.  Thankful for El Ab, Tomby, Catfish, and all those constantly trying to grow this thing.  Thankful for Mayweather, Hipbone, Luthor, and all those others serving those around us.  I’ve gained so much from F3, and in the grand scheme of things, 11 years is a long time for a relatively loose conglomeration of dudes just trying to make each other better to stay together.  It takes intention, commitment, and accountability to your fellow man to keep this going for as long as it has, and things show no sign of slowing down anytime soon.  The average length of a first marriage in the United States is 8 years. We’ve already beaten that.  Let’s keep it going even when some woman tries to screw it up.  Thanks for the push to get out of bed to do hard things in the morning.
