Nine of Concord’s best made it out post Valentine’s day in an effort to stay hard!

 

Warm-up: Mosey over K&W to warm the body!

Mosey over to ACN for Tha Thang.

Tha Thang: four stations in the parking lot of ACN. Station 1 at the back right started 10 merkins. Run to the front at the flags, station 2 10 box cutters. Run out to the entrance for station3 and do 1 burpee. Run back to the opposite side to station 4 for 10 squats. Complete by running back to station 1 and repeating adding 1 rep to each Station except station 3, stays 1 burpee.

After getting up to 15 reps Q called for Mary at 6:05 and we began our journey back to ASEC. In route back Mayweather lost a glove and was extremely let down that Q did not pick it up as I  informed him I noticed it lying ever so innocently by its self on the sidewalk. Not to fear Q made sure no glove was left where it was found!

Mary: Broga with 10 merkins to close out stretching.

Prayers/Announcements: Prayed for Professor’s wife who is recovering from flu/cold, Pax that haven’t posted in a while, and any unspoken prayer requests that may be associated there. Also prayers for our elderly, shut-ins, first responders, and our community leaders.

Moleskin: Good numbers for a Thursday, a total of 9 men decided to get up and get to work in the Gloom. What started off as a quiet group of men was quickly greeted by Tombstone and a joke about what may or may not have happened on Valentine’s day! After the ice was broken general conversation ensued as we made our way into the Gloom to get to work. Now that the Super Bowl is over, the general conversations have become more about where we all are in life and some of the problems we each are facing in our lives. like what does one do with a sailboat sail if one does not have a boat? It didn’t take long for our conversations to start getting a little quiet as our bodies had warmed up and muscles started burning. It had me pondering the Pax we haven’t seen in some time and the journeys they are on in life and if they could use a prayer. I miss seeing some of my bros and chatting it up and sharing the Gloom with you all. If you ever wondered if you are missed I can answer that, and the answer is YES.! Like Dierks Bentley sings in Burning Man, I find myself straying away unintentionally from some of what I have come to LOVE. The cool part about F3 is someone will reach out and check in to make sure everything is ok which doesn’t let you get to far off the path.

Thank you to each of you for being You and allowing me to lead. Also, grass cutting season is just around the corner and remember to keep those stripes straight and tight!
