PAX: Othello, Kojak, Gamma, Peppa, Dick Tracy, Battery, Deadhead
7 ventured out to test their might at another rendition of the Circuit Breaker. Today’s goal was to passively hit the obliques by going between prone and seated positions.
YHC has been battling some worsening knee pain, so modifications did occur, but here’s how it was intended.
THE THANG
Extinction Mile
Venture Church is Position A
Physician’s intersection is Position B
At position A, do 5 reps of each exercise. Run to position B, do 10 reps. Run back to A, 15… ect until reaching 25 reps. After completing the set of 25, run the 1/2 mile loop. When finished, switch to round 2’s exercises. At 0615, run the extinction mile again.
Round 1:
Hand-release Mericans
WWII
Superman Pulses
V-ups
Round 2:
Mike Tyson’s (you knew they were coming)
Boxer’s Crunches
Mountain Climbers
Crunchy Frogs
MOLESKIN
- Strong work out there, fellas. YHC was worried when the initial extinction mile had to be aborted, but things settled down after a bit.
- Peppa, I hate to break it to you, but if you feel old and tired now, whew there’s a whole hell of a lotta old and tired ahead of ya. You were killing it.
- Kojak was setting the pace for us as always. YHC is consistently inspired by your effort. Congrats on the Spartan triumph.
- Battery, not sure what can be done but check with Exit about joining or alternate status. Great push out there today. Also, I forgot to ask… how was summerslam?
- Othello, welcome back! Really enjoyed your tour of the AO tales. You’re right. We’ve got a good thing going here.
- Gamma, thanks for keeping me company during the circuit. It was good to have someone to commiserate with about Escalade’s insanity on Saturday.
- DT! Way to put in the work. Looking forward to lunch soon!
- COT was heavy for YHC but a weight off telling you guys. Lots more work to be done, but the journey back starts with that first step, and it’s been taken. Thank you for letting me share and lead.
- Coffeeteria was fun as always. Topics ranged from Hot Pots, Korean BBQ, independent contractors and JD’s strong family.
- Speaking of which, JD has the Q at the Speedway for rucktastick fun. SoloCup is at the Ridge for another installment of Turrible Tuesdays.
