On a mild morning a dirty dozen of the Burg’s speediest took another swing at the Harrisburg 5K prep route. It’s got it all… hills, straightaways, twists, turns, crossing 49! Whew! Too much excitement. Let’s go!

 

THE THANG 

0530 Launch from the Town Center.

Cross 49 and turn right on School
Left on Hickory Ridge
Right on Railroad and up the hill
Left on Oakley
Left on Sims Parkway into the park and turn around after the library.

ON THE RETURN TRIP:
Turn right on Henderson Circle then right on Oakley
Once back on Robinson Church turn right and do the “Boomer Village” (trademark pending) loop and go back to the bottom of the hill

One last time up the hill and this time, we’ll cross 49 and go down on Patricia.

Right on Parallel back home.

Once back at Percent, 1/2 mile loop.

• Nice work again out there, gents. It’s good to see everyone putting in the work.
• T-Claps to everyone who came back to pick up the 6 throughout the run. It’s what it’s all about.
• Sheepdog’s son has a Wolfpack ROTC run this weekend, there will also be the TarHeel 10 Miler on Saturday. BOLO for out of town Strava posts.
• The Spartan Race is also Saturday and we have several participants from Harrisburg and MeCa. Good luck fellas!
• Coffeeteria was great as always. Topics ranged from Oz’s Final Destination moment, an upcoming Hagler/Hearns themed beatdown, to the greatest steak that never existed. #ShowToKnow
• We still need a Q for the Railyard Saturday.
• It sounds like the Pitchfork may be here to stay… and Exit is perfectly ok with that.
• Hacksaw is pulling double duty tomorrow and Friday. Come on out and get some at The Ridge. Don’t let a little rain make you #skeered
