The reps were significant to only one Pax present. They represented the score of the battle of the Sunshine State between 2 once-proud teams with 6 national championships between them; now 5-6, and fighting for bowl eligibility. The final score of 24-21 saw the good guys prevail. Although the bad guys fought back and tried to make it a game with an onside kick attempt that the kicker whiffed. This was represented by the suicide audible that was quickly scrapped just after runners started. Just like the game, and much to everyone’s delight this morning, the attempt failed miserably. With the victory firmly secured, we moseyed back to ASEC to beef up for bowl season with some pullups and more Mercans.
Continued prayers for Emmett and Avery, 2 children fighting health battles, prayers for Andy (father of 2 young boys battling Lymphoma), and prayers for Catfish’s regional manager’s sister-in-law.
