Run Forrest Run!

Whelp…..No one took the Q for Monday runday, so for a 2nd week in a row I figured I would take the Q. I felt a little pep in my step and was ready to get at it since QIC had missed my usual Saturday Kannon beatdown.
6 other PAX joined QIC for a nice cool morning! 6 of us took off down to an familiar old street to run a nice 5k and Loafer had to walk solo since our current MQ and old MQ were no-shows! Squid is probably still floating naked in the lake, Risky is probably recovering from all the drinking and the Steelers barely winning Sunday. Our current MQ and old MQ…..maybe just being an MQ is too hard??? The Burgh, still claims he had some sort of hand surgery……and Java….well Java heard I was ready to run this morning and he was scared of my pace. HAHA! Now, I have mentioned the slackers who didn’t show, so let me tell you….that madman Hurdle came out for a pre-run before the run (beastmode), Cupid is always stealthy! Starts slow and was jogging and then took off! Trickdaddy and Rawhide ran their own race while having a little pow wow or counseling session between the two. They were talking so you know they were not running fast. LOL! And my man Big Country, he is there and steady as always! Pushing along and keeping a his nice and steady pace!
I am not sure where Loafer really went or if he just walked down to coffee and back to mary to meet us! But the run folks took off down to South Ridge and back up Main St. to mary…..that is right at a 5k. We finished off with a mile loop. I think everyone got 3.5-5+ in!
Great run today fellas! It was great to see Trickdaddy back out! I kept the pace just ahead of hurdle for the first time ever! But he also pre-ran almost 3 miles. LOL!
Prayers/praise- Trickdaddys return home and continue prayers for those in Brazil, Rawhides 4 month old son (praise and continue prayers), Hurdles potential new job and his M’s new job! Congrats to Mrs Hurdle on the job!
