- Great effort by all! It was especially muggy this morning. Much sweat equity invested in today’s workout!! We got through 2/3 of the 3rd set of reps. I like the increase in the number reps as you move through the workout. Got that idea from Exit54. Thank you, sir!
- Good to see the Whitte crew got over their jet lag to make it out. Although I didn’t see them come into the parking lot, it appears that both Clueless and Pancake had a pre-run. Impressive if they did!!
- Okay think I’ll scratch the V-ups from future workouts. Pulled that one from Tony Horton’s P90X series. Think I’ll put it back there, too! Look good on paper …
- We had an impromptu caffeine-free Coffeteria in the shelter after the workout, with Clueless enthralling us with details of their Philmont adventure. Tales of heat and cold and hail and red roofs and white roofs and morning panoramic views and spicy foods and other things of a regular nature. He can explain it much better!!
- Pancake response to the question “What did you enjoy the most?” was classic, “All of it!”. Well said young man. You know he had a good time. Next up for this fine young man – when are you going for your Star rank?? That’s the Scoutmaster in me coming out.
- Good to see Expresso, T-Bone, Banjo Boy and Wexler coming in hot, literally, from their run. I missed the 2.0’s name and I am not sure whose 2.0 he was.
- Wexler must have pushed it hard this morning as he was sweating bigtime sitting on picnic table. That’s what I’m going with, sweat. I think T-Bone might beg to differ!!??
- Forgot to explain the title this morning. It was on this day in 1962 Bob Dylan recorded the song “Blowin’ in the Wind”. Yeah, that was 59 years, I know, I know…
- And as always, an honor and pleasure to lead such a fine group of men.
Hang Tough!
