Start at first pole doing 2 merkins, run to next pole 4 v-ups, next pole 6 squats…..continue to get to 30 (30 days in June). Stop and do 6 Burpees (June is 6th month). Run to next pole and start back at 2, continue till time called.

Q logged 2.4 miles, others logged 2.7, and Java we will guess he logged closed to 12 miles.

At the end of warmup, Q assigned 5 burpees to Homeland. Though homeland called out many during is BB from Gauntlet week. He disrespected Q by labeling me “Danny’s boy” whom didn’t show up a single day of the gauntlet, when Q showed 3 days while packing for the great western tour. I realize the risk I have taken here today, and fear for my future rides on Homelands well-known Bus. It’s a risk worth taking. Homeland took it in stride and was a great sport. The rest of the pax were confused and a few were shocked and scared for Q at future beatdowns led by Homeland.

Many grunted and complained during the beatdown, however, it was less confusing and easier for all to understand. No skips and no counting off. Tombstone was thankful. At first Q thought he was being weak with the numbers, however you realize how quickly they add up from pole to pole. Not a full gasser but think all got a full body attack. There was a little murmur of a future beatdown that will be interesting to see how it plays out (no spoilers here Spud)

June marks 1 year of being part of this collection of men, leaders, and dare I say, friends. Its been an awesome journey. I have been challenged in many ways both physically and mentally. Ace and El Ab(neither present as they both got wasted at cab brew last night) had asked me to come for over a year prior. Though excuses were easy to come up with. Sitting around more during covid made me realize I needed something else. Thanks for the continual invite and glad to be part of one hell of a group of men. Mountie, I’m forever grateful of the name sake bestowed upon me.

Coffee was a great with much of the same topics. Handful decided to head to the hills in august to take down a spartan race. Mayweather was introduced to Hip Hop BBQ on pandora and realized how much more he appreciates Bozeman. If you don’t have it on your list, add it now. If you don’t love it, well your wrong.

Prayers for Jeff(body scan hoping to show no new signs of cancer), Zack(Q’s friend that is 39 and hospice has been called in) , Florida(continued search and rescue efforts) and a HUGE praise for the one and only WHAM. Wham and his wife have been approved/accepted for adoption with the agency. (Wham, forgive me if I am not stating that correctly.) We will continue to pray for patience as you and M are placed with the child that will truly change your life for the better.

1 year in and again I am forever grateful to the group, the friendships and the support all provide along the way.

As we head to the weekend to enjoy the 4th, let us not forget those who have served and continue to serve to protect the freedoms of this great country.
