YHC put out the word that there would be a route for Runners, Rucker’s and Hogs!   Only the runners showed, so I guess Rucker’s and Hogs don’t like being told what they are going to do or it was too cold!  Either way, the plan was changed from the Rocket to the Bird!  Near the end of the bird a Hog came rolling by!  Spaz was apparently a little late but he was there and cruising  alone through the neighborhood in search of runners to mow down!
We all got around 3.5-6 miles and are all better for it!  Great job today showing up and putting in the effort!

Thank you for all the prayers and talks yesterday.  Eli had a better day and the principal at the school did a great job handling the situation.  As a bullied survivor I thought I would have more compassion for what he was going through, but I had the mentality that he was being too sensitive even though I was supporting him on the outside. After hearing that the bully actually admitted to what he was doing and came clean, it validated Eli’s feelings to me and I had some real self reflection on feelings.  Even though you might think someone is being “soft”, that doesn’t invalidate their feelings and they are allowed to feel the way they do.  After all they can’t help it if something hits them harder than it would you.  It’s important to listen to your kids and take what they are telling you seriously.  You don’t know their breaking point and I have a better understanding of that today.  I am glad my wife was so proactive and on top if the situation.  I would have never picked up on how he was feeling because on the outside he was being himself.  I am proud of the relationship we have with our kids that he felt comfortable to come to us and ask for the help.  I am proud to be a part of this group that helped me vent a little yesterday and get me through the day.  Thank you again!

He decided he is taking the bump today! 4:30 JN Fries.  They are playing Hickory Ridge, so it should be a good game.  If anyone wants to come I’ll be there!

prayers for Yellowcake and his family.  The Spauldini family as they lost his mother in law. And all other unspoken.
