Q was told to “play nice” but honestly this workout looked much easier on paper.  Turned out to be a beatdown but met head-on by a truly impressive display by PAX.  Always fun to break up into smaller groups and suffer on a more intimate scale.    Not Backdraft kind of intimate, but nice still.
Exercises were designed to wear down specific muscle groups and since everyone hates those sidekicks, they featured prominently.    The alternative was Crunchy Frogs, so no respite there.    Bear Crawl could have been more painful if persons unknown did NOT KEEP MOVING Q’s CONES!   This transgression was only slightly offset by watching Hops execute the most painful bear crawl possible because he chose to ignore warning about not bringing gloves.   The rest of us retained our soft supple hands.
Mary was called at 6:09 although it took time to roll the tires back (assuming PAX realized this?).   Broga Master Hipbone graciously stepped up to lead us through some challenging and suggestive movements.  Thank you brother.
Prayers out to Homeland’s friend Tim and his other friend battling cancer.  We know each day is a gift from God and it’s easy to forget that in our day-to-day craziness. Working and praying with your brothers in the early hours of the morning helps make sense of everything that follows.  It is, as always, a privilege to lead such a group.
Aye!
