YHC declared a cool dry morning last night and the PAX paid attention.  11 of the finest Dawgs and Aftonians took to the streets of Carolando and ran the bird in reverse.  Our humble MQ Yellowcake arrived in his running gear, but felt bad when it looked like Amway would be rucking alone.  So he strapped on a backpack and declared himself a Rucker for the day.  Just as he did that Torch arrived to make the 3 musketeers!  That was a dangerous group to join if you ask me, Amway and Torch?!  But I guess as long as you stayed next to them and not behind you are safe!  The 8 runners joined me for a bird run in the opposite direction.  It’s nice having all these new faces join us on run days, I think back to how proud Hop Hunter would be right now.  Grassy knoll is like Yellowcake, 1 speed but he doesn’t stop, a true machine built with no quit!  Greenwave might not consider me his friend on run days, but he got better today!  Honey Do came out because he doesn’t want me to beat his Strava segment time, he even put in some extra credit with Loveboat at the end of the run.  Hokie Pokie said he felt bad about sending him, but I think he wanted some extra credit and someone to run with. Pharoah must have felt like he was running a 1/2 marathon.  He would be behind me, then charge past me, and then back behind me again flying in the wind. Talladega joined us with his iron toughness running from home and then around us until it was time to run the route.  I figured he would get some new scenery today in the reverse route it was my gift for all the hard work he has been doing at work and getting that win this week.  Overall we got between 4-6 miles.  Everyone made it back safe and no one was injured during the run.  Now go make it a great day and put a smile on a strangers face, because everyone could use a smile from someone they don’t know.  SYITG!
