Hornet Infestation with a Lot of Repeats
All BackBlasts BackblastsJuly 26th, 2020
All week the PAX had been discussing the name for Swiss Miss’s 2.0. His first workout was a convergence so he didn’t get his name. His second workout was last week and the group was too O2 deprived to name him. This week he would not be denied!
YHC showed up early to scout out the park. Idea #1, no go because the fields are closed. Idea #2, no good because too many people using that space already. I guess we go for on the fly and idea #3 – REPEATS. Sorry boys.
Flag planted. Circled up with 2 minutes to go. No time like the present, the 2.0 gets a name now. After some discussion, he was named Mini-Marshmallow. No objections? Good. Welcome Mini Marshmallow.
We made a quick (and maybe unsafe due to high traffic) Capri lap w/ mixed mosey then headed to the memorial. A crappy disclaimer was given. Loud and proud, we join together for mixed warmup finishing up with Monkey Humpers for the onlookers.
Mosey to the lower playground. YHC saw that no-one was using the lower picnic tables. That will be home base. P1 does called exercise while P2 runs for time.
- Dips (repeat)
- Merks (repeat)
- Step ups (repeat)
Mosey to coupon deposit. Watch out… HORNETS! Mini Marshmallow found a secret deposit of flying stingy monsters. Luckily he only got hit once and didn’t seem to be allergic. Ironically enough, our very own Hornet seemed uninterested in coming down to control his mini minions. Oh well.
Line up at the bottom of the hill. 40 count reps OYO of called exercise then run up the hill and touch the fence. Back down for repeat.
- Curls (repeat)
- Presses (repeat)
- Tricep Ext. (repeat)
From here, YHC had to bolt. Delta had an idea called the best an the worst to cover the remaining time. Every PAX calls their favorite exercise and their least favorite. The PAX will join in on the suffering and recovery.
