7 Dawgs embarked on the Lazarus run, a few minutes late leaving the kennel. Buck called out for the other Ruckers, but none would step forth. The Fart Sack was strong on the Darkside. Buck stepped up and hit his stride with the other Dawgs. As we broke off into groups, the short legs Uecker, Buck and YHC headed out one way in hopes the long legs would make quick time led by Loveboat, Ringo, Talladega and Habs. YHC brought out an encore performance from his virgin Q and pulled up lame with a blown hammy. Buck wasn’t hearing any of that static as he shrugged and noted, Cousin’ ain’t so bad. I’ve seen faster Rucker’s than YHC. Uecker even laid down a PR for a mile, just to keep Buck in check. The long legs continued to lap the field and made sure everyone was still alive & staying the course. Talladega made an appearance to show everyone he’s still got the wheels and before we knew it, vanished into the dawn. Habs felt sorry for the short legs so he hung back doing his best “Whiz” impersonation. Loveboat and Ringo taunted everyone back at the kennel so as to see what a non-limper’s stride should like. Fun was had by all.
