16 of Highlands finest gathered in the gloom with a little twist this am.  After confirming no FNGs and a very brief yet legal Disclaimer, a brief yet important story.  Faye Swetlik was a 6 year old girl tragically abducted and killed earlier in February in South Carolina.  Our F3Lexington, SC Pax have children that went to school with Faye.  You can imagine some of the conversations our Bros down south have had recently.  With that, they asked F3Nation to ditch the black and wear bright colors this am in support of not only Faye, but the first responders who were involved in her disappearance and discovery, the school community and broader Lexington community.  In addition, Wed this week is F3Meca Mental Health awareness day.  In support of both causes, the Pax was instructed our mosey to warmarama would be conducted in silence allowing silent prayers and intentions en route.

Upon entering the bus lot by way of rabbit hole and Shelley Ave, we got after it.

Warmarama:

• SSH, CP, Plank Jack, Windmill IC x 10 each

The Thang:

Partner up, get a block and line up at the portico side of bus lot.  P1 reps it out while P2 runs across lot and back.  Swap, rinse, repeat until the following completed:

• Curls x 100
• Overhead Press x 100
• Merkins x 100
• Block swing x 100

Mosey to rail dodging only 1 car this morning

• Dip, Derkins, Dips, Merkins, Dips IC x 10

Mosey to playground

• Partner pull-ups x 10 each x 3

Back to blocks, reps, runs, swap, rinse, repeat

• Curls x 50
• Overhead Press x 50
• Merkins x 50
• Block swing x 50

Return blocks

A series of sprints to each basketball goal to (nearly) finish us off.

• A little drizzle this am – nothing too bad and that we couldn’t handle.
