Brick Partners at the Mill
All Kannon BackblastsDecember 30th, 2019
7 HIM got their Saturday dose of the DRP at Kannon on Saturday morning.
A group of F3 veterans present, so a quick disclaimer and we were off. Headed past the parking garage, and to the parking lot east of Main St. High knees, carioca, butt kickers, toy soldiers as we headed south. Crossed back over Main St. to the Armed Forces monument at Veterans Park and circle up for warmorama.

Mosey to Dale Memorial for The Thang:
Partner DORA workout with bricks that were waiting for us there.
Partner 1 is the timer and runs ¾ of the circle and back to relieve partner 2 who is doing the exercise with both bricks in hand. Flapjack and Partner 1 grabs the bricks and continues the count where Partner 2 left off. All exercises consisted of 200 reps.
Exercises were:
Brick presses
Skull crushers
Step-ups
Merkins (with both bricks on your back)
Dips
Reverse lunges
Calf raises on your bricks
Between reverse lunges and calf raises, we mixed it up a bit. P1 timer is now 5 burpees. P2 does curls until P1 is done. 3 Rounds of this (15 burpees / pax)
Mosey back to AO start. Arrived with 15 seconds left until 0800. No time for Mary.
Recover, recover.

I’m writing this BB 2 days later, and my memory can’t remember. Sorry if I missed something.

Moleskin:
Solid work put in by all Saturday morning. Good job pushing your partner through it. Overall, we got in just over 2 miles in with some quality upper body work and some tough step-ups for the legs. You don’t think that those little bricks are going to do much, but they catch up to you pretty quickly. FWIW, those bricks weigh 4.2 lbs each. Thanks for coming out. Always enjoy working out with the HIM from Kannon. Appreciate you letting me Q every now and then.
Happy New Year!
