17 Pax gathered in the gloom on a nice crisp 50 degree morning to support @Dr. Seuss and @Turbine in their partner VQ, and help @Turbine celebrate his birthday.

Warmup

• Run short lap
• Run lines… high knees, butt kickers, carioca
• SSH IC
• Cotton Pickers IC
• IST IC

 

The Thang

Mosey to courtyard, partner up.  One partner does the exercise while the other runs a lap around the outside of the courtyard.  As a team do a total of:

• 200 merkins
• 100 step ups
• 200 Bobby Hurleys

Those that finished early took some reps from the other teams

 

Mosey to stadium wall

• People’s chair 30 sec
• Air presses IC
• People’s chair 30 sec
• Air presses IC
• People’s chair 30 sec

 

Mosey to stairs, partner up again

Same as before… one partner does the exercise while the other runs to the bottom of the stairs and back.  As a team do a total of:

• 100 WW2s
• 100 Carolina dry docks
• 100 squats

Those that finished early took some reps from the other teams

 

Mosey to People’s Mary

• @Talladega called for The Squirm, just to goad @pharaoh who was a conscientious objector
• @Buck called for the pretzel crunch

 

COT

• @torch reminded us about the Blade mentoring program… reach out to him if you’re interested in being a mentor or a mentee
• @uecker reminded us that there is a workday at Pitts School Road Elementary on Oct 18.  @mightymouse is the principal there and reached out asking for help from the F3 brothers.  Please come out to help if you can do some painting, spread mulch, etc.
• @Buck gave an update on his brother, James, who is having blood flow issues and is at risk of losing his leg.  Hospital has sent him home due to insurance limitations.  Pray for him and his wife.
• @Uecker announced that Q-Source Grinder has been discontinued at Rocky River Coffee, closest one is Highland Creek
• @Hop Hunter passed on the H to Rerun, for stepping in to Q this week
