Back by unpopular demand: The 1,000 rep challenge

All Highlands Backblasts

October 3rd, 2019 By Poutine

23 PAX, including FNG Will Pfeiffer, showed up this morning to soon realize that their next 45 minute beatdown would be brutal.  Since nobody had signed up to Q for Thursday and Friday, YHC signed up for both days and brought in a nasty beatdown.  Back by unpopular demand, YHC lead the 1,000 rep challenge which left many hunched over with their hands on their knees trying to catch their breath and shake off the lactic acid build up.   When the beatdown was written, it sounded really good but when YHC looked at it this AM at 5:00, it didn’t sound as good realizing that some serious pain would be inflicted.  But we are all better for it now that it is over.  Promptly at 5:30, the sound of Thunderstruck by AC CD was momentarily paused for full disclaimer which excluded YHC, HCE, Highlands, and Canada from any liability.  PAX were encouraged to modify as needed.  We then moseyed to the back of HCE with butt kickers and carioca until we circled up for Warmarama.

  1. I have to give credit to Proverbs 27:17 – “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.“

Know this was a high-quality beatdown. Great job with the continuous EH’ing.
