Nine rolled out of bed to get a little faster with a Friday morning zoom in the gloom! 3 increased their distance with a 6 mile run.   The other six decided that a Bromance beatdown was the way to go.  A partial disclaimer was given with full coverage coming with “modify everything!”.  With Bromance keeping an eye out for his Emotional Headlock we “foseyed” (a faster than usual mosey) around the back of HCES to the lower parking where the Warmarama ensued!

A little mubble chatter on the Head/Shoulders/Knees and Toes.  Disaster will lead us in the song next time.  With everyone loose and singing voices in tune…

THE THANG

We foseyed to the track for a partner-based speed town beatdown that started with 800M of Indian Runs around the track.  After Disaster told us to pick it up a notch, we raced through to our next challenge.

For some reason several wanted to stay away from turns one and two, so we stuck to the straightaway.

Indian Runs were not popular this morning – so we stuck to 100 M races

100 Meter Races x 12 (bakers dozen)
4 (5) – Sprints – with a 5(ish) count start… Disaster was fast out of the gate (cough -false start) but was several steps behind Buffalo Bills (we all were!)
4 – Stolie Skips – we now know Barrister’s super power
4 – Sprint w/ Bands – a little brotherly love – what did you expect from a Bromance workout?
4 – Back pedal / Karaoke / and Left to Right Side Shuffles – depending on the mood of the Q…. stay low keep your eye on your partner!

We foseyed back to the front parking lot and circled up for a PAX led MARY

1. Bromance took the opportunity to steal W from Disaster
2. Disaster took vengeance with the box-cutter
3. Illuminati brought the pain with low flutters
4. Which only continued with Buffalo Bills Mason Twists
5. Juice Switched it up with Some Merkins
6. And Barrister ended things with Homer to Marge

• A fun first Q – thanks to all for the help with exercises, names of exercises, and for the encouragement! Looking forward to more!
• Since it was a Bromance beatdown – Disaster get the award for the most brotherly love. Look alive if you partner with him and bands are involved – just saying…. If you don’t believe me talk to Barrister.
• Disaster closed us out with prayer for those in Florida and along the Carolina Coast. We also prayed for Adam (Bromance Brother in Law with heart valve replacement) and Oliva (Adam’s daughter with Type B Leukemia).  God is Good and Jesus is glorified.
