19 Kannon/Concord brothers gathered for some intense competition in the damp wide open Shoe of F3Kannon. Warmup consisted of a quick mosey up to 29A thru Memorial Park back to the top of the shoe for 20SSH, 7 Slow Cotton Pickers and a short walk with open the gate close the gate groin stretch.

Thang: Game time consisted of 10 Blue clad Concord v. 9 Kannon adorned Red/Orange. The size of the shoe allowed the Q to step off a full 100yd long 50yd wide field and boy did we fill it. Concord in the end dominated scoring with a final score I believe 9 – 4. They dazzled with superior speed and great teamwork combined with appropriate gripping shoes to more than double up their Kannon foes. Constant moving and persistence from Private Ryan almost did the Q in. We had amazing grabs by many but highlighted by P Ryan and PattyCake. The slight slope of the field actually drained the water much better than expected. It is great to compete in an event where everyone is giving a ton of effort but still show good sportsmanship toward the other team. We had two F3 visitors Poutine, from Highlands and TinkerBell from Granite Falls. Prayer for all little and not so little ones who will all be back at school on Monday. Qsource followed led by Poutine focusing on accountability. As normal it was a great way to start Saturday on a remarkably cool day.
