You know it’s going to be a strange morning when a bunch of men dressed in all black doing monkey humpers in front of a school bus full of kids is NOT the weirdest occurrence of the morning…but I’ll get back to that.

Nine brave men (including YHC) met at the clubhouse to see what YHC had planned. Today was the official four year anniversary of the Davis Lake AO so I had to grab the Q. All I knew going into it is I wanted to incorporate the numbers 5 and 30 or multiples of those numbers. When I arrived one minute late, Laser was already leading the group in SSH. You guys can thank my M (again) for that. YHC jumped in and added more SSH to get to 30 IC. Then I threw in 30 IST IC for good measure. Everyone knows my warm up routine by this point so I won’t bore you with listing those…but we did 15 IC of those as well. It was during the warm-up that a car emerges from the back of the lot…a man sticks his head out of the window and says, “what a way to start the morning!” and drives off. YHC notices another car heading from the lot and jokes start about if the driver will be a female…and it was. The pax immediately ponder if his statement was referencing our early morning workout…or his. Anyway…

Moleskin:

Sorry for the somewhat light load today. YHC is tapering for the KT5K this weekend.

At some point during the mosey, 2Step used the word “conversate” which severely bothered our resident Spanish teacher. This led to the word being looked up and insight being provided as to why a certain demographic might be more familiar with the word than others.

Also it looks like the official car of Davis Lake will be the Honda Pilot as three pax now own one.
