Eternal speed flame kept burning by an unexpected source (black bean chili)

All Highlands Backblasts

December 7th, 2018 By Wild Turkey

One speedster hit the Parkway in search of Christmas lights.

The Thang:

YHC showed up at 5:31 AM to an empty parking lot. Drove around a few times to see if the Pax had taken off and already left me behind. Nope. Ok. Let’s do this.

Mosey up the HC Parkway towards Bell’s Mill with intervals at street lights. Turn right on Bell’s Mill to see if Christmas display is up. Nope. Continue to Harwood Forest, take a right, hit the dead end and turn around. Left on Downfield Wood, back to the Parkway for some more light post intervals to Shelley then to Ridge, and then to Street. Pick up intensity to about 60% to first turn, pick it up to 70% at next turn, AYG from the parking lot driveway back to start.

Moleskin:

  1. Black bean chili last night for dinner. Let’s just say the Pax would be glad they missed an opportunity to catch a Turkey tailwind.
  2. No other pax also means no Stoli.
  3. Spend some time this weekend with your family preparing to celebrate the birth of Christ. That’s what this season is about by the way…

  1. Nice work, Wild Turkey! I believe this is the day we converged at Comanche for a special RED Friday. Thx for keeping the Speed flame burning.
