Predictable DownPAINment
All Highlands BackblastsNovember 13th, 2018
As a light rain fell in the 44 degree gloom, a PAX of 9 kicked back the clutches of the fartsack and prepared to exercise their bodies as there would be very little exercising of the mind for this beatdown. A mediocre disclaimer was given, but it was noted that any medical attention would be limited by the quality of one’s medical coverage.
A mosey began to…
WARMARAMA:
- It’s the same one YHC always does. Blah, blah blah, yada, yada, yada.
THE THANG:
Starting with sets of 10 the following exercises were completed
- In the bus lot – Squats, Jump Squats, Lower Half Squats, Hold Down for the count
- On the way to the rail, the PAX rotated through 5 Pull Ups while doing Rocky Balboa’s to pass the time
- At the rail – Dips, Incline Merkins, Derkins, Hold Down for the count
- On the way back to the bus lot, an Indian Run was enjoyed
Sets of 15, 20, 15 and 10 were completed and a mosey began from the rail to Highland Creek Pkwy.
At the corner, a hold halfway Merkin contest was called. @Sully made a strong showing, but ultimately @Poutine proved victorious.
Mosey continued to the covered entrance of the school for a dry….
MARY:
- Pretzel Crunch x 15
- Box Cutter x 15
- LBC x 15
- Reverse Crunch x 15
- The W x 10
- Low Flutter x 15
COT and BOM!
A PREDICTABLE MOLESKIN:
- Good work today men! YHC didn’t expect 20, but was glad it wasn’t 2 given the conditions.
- There have been some good reports on @KoolAid, but continue to remember him as he still has some hurdles to clear.
- Remember those in California affected by the fires and specifically pray for @Sparky’s cousin who lost their home.
- There will be a CSAUP event at the Mineshaft coming soon. Be on the lookout for dates and times. This will be an event based on time spent (4 hours) not necessarily distance covered.
Always an honor to lead the PAX!
