12 pax showed up at the mill to anxiously wonder what the QIC had in store on a muggy Saturday morning.

Quick disclaimer to our 3 FNG’s and we were off to the ring of honor for the warm-up:

SSH’s x 50 IC, arm circles forwards and backwards, cotton pickers x 10 IC, and Hillbillies x 15 IC

Mosey to the deck for the thang: 12 levels of the deck, starting with one exercise at level 1 and stopping at each 1/2 level to add a new one and repeat the previous exercise.  This was an OYO “but” lead by the Q’s cadence, if you could not keep up as we went along you were instructed to do as many as possible but had to move when Q said it was time to advance.  This kept everyone together and constant movement.

level 1: merkins x 10 IC

level 1.5: LBC’s x 15 IC

Level 2: Air squats x 20

level 2.5: Down dog merks x 10 IC

level 3: Freddy merks x 15 IC

level 3.5: gorilla humpers x 20

level 4: diamond merks x 10 IC

level 4.5: dying cockroaches x 15 IC

level 5: star jumps x 20

had to skip levels 5.5 and 6 as we ran short on time and went immediately to level 6.5 for burpees x 20 followed by all previous exercises above.

Mosey to Mary for: Broga

Prayers/announcements: prayers for Jeff, co-worker of a few of the pax who was injured at work.  Prayers for all the graduates who are heading to the beach for traveling mercies and to be safe and make good decisions.

Moleskin: great effort by all and boy we had some big totals with all the compounding exercises as we scaled the mill.  380 total merks, that includes the down dog, & diamond merks.  For future reference down dog merks IC are rough!  Also had 375 core reps IC and the burpees were the icing on top of the summit. We had a brief run in with a rent a cop that drove all the way to the top of the deck looking for skateboarders but we had all left ours at home.  Welcome FNG’s Brandon Glenn, Tim Hill, and Brian Harkey, we hope you come back.  Thanks to knuckle sandwich and talledega for coming out and supporting Brandon.
