El Ab’s Saturday show

All Concord Backblasts

October 23rd, 2017 By KGB

A large showing for a Saturday, a dozen of us, departed from ASEC on a beautiful, crisp autumn morning at 0700 for a 5.25 mile total jaunt w/ sprinkled-in pain stations.  The pax exhibited a great attitude with zero expressed complaints.
First pit stop at NEMC steam station for Warm-o-Rama:
-windmills, arm circles, walkout merks, various lower-back stretches
Second Stop at Beverly Hills Park’s Tennis Courts:
-lying cockroaches, alternate leg V-ups, windmill merks and burpees w 2 merks
Third Stop at Beverly Hills School”s bus parking lot:
-repeato of Second Stop
Fourth Stop at Wilmar Baptist Church:
-alternate leg V-ups, pretzel crunches, windmill merks
Burpee (x2) indian run from Wilmar Baptist Church to ASEC
Notes:
-Anvil got in some running pre-workout albeit much less than the 8 miles the ever-industrious Phidip logged bfhand. Philip even spotted by QIC running post-work out– def as the age-advantage.
-Anvil has made a determination to become fit, spread joy to the pax and become an underwear model— he is running faster and faster
-props to Frostbite who fought past physical and/or mental infirmity to post last two Saturdays of distance runs
-Catfish (aka “rhinestone cowboy”) was absent due to gettin’ muddy w male friends– not his cowboy male friends—  the man can pull off some cowboy boots and hat match w that ‘stache, but needs some tight fittin’ wranglers rather than slightly baggy drawers
-prayers lifted up for TP’s boy, James, on his recovery road and Anvil’s co-worker’s boy who is battling cancer
-I currently weigh approx 20 lbs lighter than when I initially began F3 30-months ago and have gained my best friends along the way
Thanks for leading me, El Abogado
