All Rolling Stone BackblastsOctober 11th, 2017
After fartsacking my last RS Q, there was no way YHC was going to miss another one. I was so determined to fulfill my commitment that I showed up a full week early. Oops. With the pre-blast already sent out and no one else signed up to Q, YHC took this week instead of next.
Nine men got up at at em, ready for some Wednesday miles. Five runners, 4 ruckers. The ruckers took their coffee and headed somewhere, the runners set their sights on the track for some speed work. It went like this:
#OneMileWarmarama
- Slow mosey to the track and take 3 easy laps; counter clockwise.
#The Thang
- 4 laps AYG
- 1 slow
- 3 laps AYG
- 1 slow
- 2 laps AYG
- 1 slow
- 1 lap AYG
- Slow mosey back to the shovel flag.
COT & BOM
#Moleskin
- Thanks for posting, men. I would not have been able to do that alone this morning.
- It would have been a perfect day if the humidity had been turned down about 90%. That made for some pretty uncomfortable running conditions but the PAX powered through.
- It sounds like the rucktards got in a few miles with some painstations along the way. Nice work!
Homework
- Maintaining our bodies by exercising is great but we need to constantly remember to maintain our relationships at home. Primarily with our wives. The homework given out today was to do something special for your M before you start your day. This could mean doing an extra chore to help her out, talking to her and reassuring your love for her, leaving a love note for her to find, etc. Anything just to let her know that you are thinking about her and still 100% committed to your relationship. A little act in this area can go a long way.
- @LoveSeat highly recommends the personal note, he seems like a credible source.

Good work gentlemen. Report back with your homework results!
Glad you could make it Grinder, nice one! I’m not regretting my decision to ruck this morning, that humidity was brutal. Good work runners! I think I got a “A” on my homework, dropped a note in the M’s lunch bag, she found it, and loved it!
