6 Pax assembled in the sub-20 gloom at Pain Academy to solve the mystery of the stolen parking spot.

Warmup

Mosey

Suicides across parking lot (it was very cold, so we really needed to warm up)

Windmill x 10

Hillbilly x 10

SSH x 20

 

The Thang

Good medicine- Squats while tossing a medicine ball around, popcorn-style.

Swinging good time- pax each grabbed a kettlebell, ranging in sizes from 15-45 lbs. 20 swings, then pass the bell and do 20 more until everyone got every bell. total of 120 swings.

Running with the bells- 1/2 mile-ish mosey while carrying the afore-mentioned bells, trading off to share the different weights.

Sally pushup challenge- this was met with much enthusiasm. Well, not really. But we got about two minutes in before a man drove into the otherwise empty parking lot and informed us, mid-sally, that the one parking spot out of over 100 available that we were in was his.

Pause Sally to graciously relocate

Add 40 more seconds on just to be awesome

Resume sally

Post sally, pax rotated through 2x 15 curls, 2x 15 upright rows, 2 x 15 presses, 20 squats, 15 skullcrushers, and 10 rows per arm with bells.

 

Mary:

one set of partners did medicine ball throws while the rest of the pax went through lbcs, crunchy frogs, flutter, ww2 situps, and oblique lbcs

 

 

Moleskin:

A few superlatives need to go out for this workout:

Chum- most likely to NOT miss a sub-20 degree workout. Congrats for not getting hypothermia.

Sandals- most likely to make a workout look like a walk on the beach. Strong showing for your first Pain Academy!!
