10 men came to celebrate the first day of football season proper, and both the Pack and Pirates were represented.  Weather was perfect, which means Bozey would have had us in a stairwell somewhere.

Warmup

Head to the front of Belk for

THANGALANG

Start with 10 hand release merks, 10 core killers, 10 star jumps.  After that, Q sets a time to complete the lap around the mall.  If the last of the pax finished past the time set by the Q, one rep of each gets added to the total.  First lap time to beat was 7 minutes, a 10:30 pace, everyone beat that.  Second lap was 6:20, a 9:30 pace.  Everyone beat that.  Third lap was 5:40, an 8:30 pace, everyone beat that, some BARELY.  4th lap had a couple guys take off early to try to beat 5:20, which was an 8 minute pace.  Some beat it handily, some barely got it, others trod in around 30 seconds back.  3 reps added to each because of the 30 second delay, for a total of 53 reps of each.

Trick was still finishing his reps when Circuit and Neverland took off early, those Pirates tried to get the jump.  Didn’t matter.

prayed for Neverland and Psycho’s girls who witnessed the aftermath of a terrible tragedy, hopefully they can put that out of their minds quickly.  Also prayers for Minnesota.

MOLESKIN

Perfect morning to get it.  Got almost 3.5 miles, with speed, accuracy, reps, power, pride, just in time for football season.  Everyone showed up big.  This was a beatdown that demonstrated that everyone is capable of great speeds and powers, and that we all thrive upon a little motivation and competition. Keep getting faster, middle distance speed work is part of it.  Football season is here.  Micah Parsons is not. Tombstone is a gay hillbilly. Love you guys.
