Q: Mayhem

PAX: Private Ryan, Brick Yard, Scooter, Fire Chicken, Luther, Hops, Gooney, Tombstone

Homeland joined the COT

Psycho-T, El Ab and Bozeman joined us for coffee

9 brave men went full Jim Cantore and battled wind and pain to make themselves better. The mast went up and we set sail to something like this:

Warm-a-rama

Moseyed up to Central Methodist steps to give a nod to Christ on this Ash Wed as Q reflected on his trek to Calvary. We began with:

SSH, Never ending Hillbillies, Loose Change, Arm Circles

The Thang:

Down to Smelly Cat with a tip of the hat to Team 3 and Dale for a F3 Concord Victory Lap. Began with a group Warm up lap with 10 Mercs, jog around the block to Union and New Courtyard for 10 V Ups. Circled block back to Smelly Cat where it began

Partner up. 10 Mercs, then Partners ran the opposite way around block, when met up, 10 V UPS. Back the way they came and repeat with descending reps to 1.
When PAX got to 5, teams reversed course

Mary:

A few light stretches

Prayers & Announcements:

Happy Birthday, Gooney! Prayers for Luther’s Mother for knee replacement surgery, her recovery, and no adverse effects of anesthesia. Q may have forgotten one, but God knows. He always knows!

Moleskin: Today began Lent for those who practice. A time of reflection on Christ and what he endured in the 40 days leading up to Easter. He knew. He always knew. He always knows. He knew from the beginning. He still proceeded. For us. Amazing. Humbling. Overwhelming a bit. How do we even make ourselves worthy? We don’t. Grace does. His amazing Grace! What a gift!

What a gift F3 Concord is. I’m honored to be a part of, and lead this group from time to time. All of us come from different faith backgrounds, express it in different ways, yet I observe it each time I’m around each of you. Reflecting the attributes of Christ and bringing forth good fruit. Building each other up….for the most part. Always willing to lend a hand and encouragement. Taking care of ourselves so we can be good stewards of those and that which has been entrusted to us.

Winning feels good. Being part of Team 3 and winning on the mountain felt great! Being part of this collective group, even better. Being part of the flock of Christ and to experience the greatest Victory Lap of eternity, triumphant!

In His Service,

Mayhem

John 15:15:

“I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”
