Q: Circuit Rider
PAX: Tombstone, Catfish, Look Me Up, Crabgrass, and Wham.
Warmup: Side straddle hops, Loose change, arm circles.
The Thang: we hit a mozy over to the school only for the Q to learn the small track behind the play ground was now off limits.
We cruised back over to OCT for the warmup.
Afterwards, we ran down to trusty ole 5/3. ECU’a record this season was 8-5. So we did 8 victory laps around the bank while doing 5 Chuck Norris merks each lap.
Once completed we drifted over to the adjacent steep lot and completed a Clock w/ crunchy frogs.
After a few spins of the Clock we paid tribute to NC State. Their season fell short at 6-7, so we shortened the run to just a 6 parking spaces.
6 Cockroaches and 7 down and backs.
We ended with a race to the death called Catch me if you can. This was an event style race that left one man standing. There were 3 free coffees on the line for the winner, paid for by the Q, but no one could overtake the young stud. The Q ended the battle by absolutely demolishing LMU. There were tears shed by the 3rd tallest man in Concord, his ranking brought into question, and he almost hung up the running shoes for good after such a loss. Prayers for LMU.
After doing much more sprinting that we were all comfortable with we drug ourselves back to OCT for Mary.
Mary: prayer LMU’s father in law who seems to be doing much better, and trending in the right direction. Catfish and his travels, as well as his kids. Crabgrass’s friend and the loss of their father.
Moleskin:
-LMU is not faster than Circuit.
-A lottttt of whining for guys who were tough enough to workout the first day of the year.
-Circuit can track down LMU.
-Catfish isn’t man enough to do merkins on pavement.
-LMU is slow.
-Apparently tombstone’s beer diet and lack of sleep has led to him being a superior athlete than most… who would have known.
