Moleskin:
1. Call it divine providence or just plain ‘ol good luck, but thirteenpatriotic Pax(two from Greenville, SC) showed on a brutally humid, 74 degree Independence Day morning at ASEC to symbolize the original thirteen colonies and participate in the deceptively brutal 1776 challenge. This workout had been done a few times in years past but always on Saturday hour long time period. Turns out we did get all 1776 reps in but it took officially 47 minutes according to Q’s watch. We may have cut a few corners here and there with the quality of a few exercises, but the emphasis was on quantity this day. Humidity was rough as our cumulative sweat could have filled a five gallon bucket!

2. Great to have two visiting Pax from Greenville, SC, Catniss and Bumblebee, and one FNG, Austin Lear, with us today. The new boys did fine as Catniss and Bumblebee came back Saturdaymorning for another beatdown! Just a reminder to hydrate well before and after our workout this time of year. The heat will sneak up and bite you if not careful.

3. Prayers for Catfish, and two of Mayweather’s friends were said. As we celebrate July 4th, never forget the sacrifices made and courage it took for our forefathers to forge an independent nation based on laws and the consent of the people. Much blood has been shed to create and protect our form of government which we must never take for granted! Prayers for our nation and our leaders as we prepare for a challenging five months before the November Election Day.
