A dynamite dozen slid into ASEC for a buttery smooth workout and to display the strength that only certain members of society possess. Temps were perfect.
WARMUP
Mosey to the interior sidewalk up to the unsmooth upper lot for
- SSH x 20
- IST x 12
- Loose chg x 10
- Arm Circles
Then grab a block/plate/whatever and take it down to the highest arm of the parking lot to prep for
THANG
Solid ASEC grinder, but mostly in the new smooth beautifully asphalted lot. Run down each arm for the reps and back, hitting each segment of the parking lot for a different exercise.
- Top segment – 5 manmakers w/block
- Second Segment – 10 WWII
- Third Segment – 15 Merkins
- Bottom Segment – 20 Low Flutter in cadence
Then run from bottom up the sidewalk out to “The Point” intersection of Country Club and Concord Lake for 25 squats, then back to Station 1 and repeato until time called around 0609.
Gather people and return blocks to their hiding spot and head to

Prayers for Ann’s who has received a recently difficult update on her cancer treatments, Liz who has just had the same happen, for Indy’s son Jack recovering from mono, and for Ticky’s dad and family as he deals with dementia.

Good group this morning. YHC doesn’t typically post on Thursdays, but taking tomorrow off so I can run alongside my 7 y/o son at his second 5K on Saturday. He’ll probably smoke me. Good to have a solid crew in tow and folks were able to break off in little speed pockets as they wanted. Ticky and Pawpaw were back together and it was a beautiful sight to see, running alongside each other like the days of yore. Overall a nice sneaky burner that got a little more running in than everyone may have expected. That little hill up to the point drags a bit. The pavement is SMOOTH and we kept going elsewhere. Somehow ASEC got it done in like 3 weeks. Maybe the City of Concord should make a phone call. Coffee was great with tons of laughter. I cannot speak as to the topics discussed. Show to know because ain’t no way I’m writing that shit down. Ever. Jenny from Forrest Gump sucks.
