10 legit dudes showed up on a humid, misty morning to log a few more miles on the ‘ol bones.

The route was one I stole from Uncle Floyd who stole it from someone else and it felt right to steal it one more time. I have dubbed it the Bermuda Triange because everyone went in but some didn’t come back out…until 6:15. The route took us down Parallel all the way to Morehead. Once we crossed Morehead, Parallel turns into Valhalla and took that all the way Lakeview (still didn’t get a view of the lake) which turned into Willams. The speedsters took the Valhalla, Lakeview, and Williams triangle x 2 to put in some more miles. Once you were in the Bermuda Triangle the elevation changes became evident quickly. Each dude made it back at their own pace but all pushed themselves for the entire time.

Props to Salty Dog and Talledega, who as always, led from the front and pushed the men beside them a little harder. I have unofficially named them the Road Warrior title holders at this point. It’s up to the rest of us to go get that title from them! Props to those nursing injuries as well. It isn’t easy getting up early but to get up early with an injury as well is next level. Way to push yourselves and not make excuses.

Escalade-great seeing you in the gloom more often. Keep it up!

-Continued prayers for the 12 y/o girl recently diagnosed with cancer. Strength and guidance for her and her family in this difficult time

-For the family of the young girl who recently went missing. Her body was found and returned to her family. Strength and understanding as they deal with the tragic loss.

-For all the unspoken prayer requests.

 

-Always an honor to lead the men of F3 Harrisburg.
