Moleskine:
This morning’s workout was a unique, 80s-themed session that tested the mettle of the ‘Fab 5’ aka the ‘Power 5’ of F3 Harrisburg. As the rain subsided, the group embarked on a new routine, accompanied by an upbeat soundtrack from some new speakers. The workout involved a series of exercises, starting with a curb run to the first island, followed by a set of exercises performed on the way back. The exercises included Mercans, squats, CDDs, one-leg calf raises, jumping lunges into Mercans, curb leg raises, and Apollo Onnos. The intensity increased with each round as the participants moved to the next island, performing five reps and then increasing the count in each subsequent round. The group moved together, ensuring everyone finished before advancing to the next round. If anyone finished early, they were encouraged to keep moving with a run in place or another lap. The standout exercise of the day was the jump lunge burpees, which were received with a mix of exhaustion and laughter. This innovative workout was graciously received, and while there may be some tweaks in the future, it’s sure to make a reappearance. Kudos to the group for not only trying out this new workout but also pushing their limits. Stay tuned for the next iteration of this 80s-themed workout
