8 stations, 7 HIMs, 5 blocks…
All BackBlasts BackblastsFebruary 20th, 2024
As I was cleaning out the shed during my day off yesterday, I laid eyes on some old friends covered in tarps and cob webs. The ol’ cinder blocks spoke to me and said they needed to be taken out to “The Ridge” for a beatdown. After some requests were sent out to the PAX, we found a few more friends to join and a cinder block reunion was in order. Once I had the blocks ready, I had to decide what I was going to do with them. I settled on an old “game” we played in my early days in the Army. 7 HIMs showed up to play along. The PAX were split into two teams (Team 1 and Team 2). It went like this:
Warm-o-Rama: SSH, MCs, Abe V’s, various stretches
Team 1 started at Station 1 and ended at Station 8. Team 2 did the opposite. The catch: Each team was responsible for carrying their blocks for the entirety of the stations and they could not touch the ground. Team 1 had three blocks, Team 2 had 2 blocks. Teams had to figure out how to make that happen.
