Great morning with a good turn out for a Saturday. Everyone got more than 4 miles of trotting.
Been a while since QIC has posted on the weekend. Most of the time I have early tee times. Posting with you boys was much more productive!
As I turn 52 I’ve learned a lot of lessons in this life, but none more important than to be thankful. What a great city we live in, surrounded by great people! We even had a group of complete strangers cheering us on this morning, giving us high fives!
I truly believe the secret to a long life is activity, communion and laughter. What an incredible gift to be able to do that with a group like F3 Concord.
One of my very favorite spots in the city is the view we experinced at day break of the First Baptist steeple. Something about the low hanging fog across the green with it as the back drop is inspiring to me. I have had many a good talk with the Lord there. I’ve told him thank you for a LOT in that very spot. Glad we were able to take a group photo there. I’ll cherish it, just as I cherish each of you.
One of my favorite verses in scripture is the prayer of Jabez. We should all be striving to enlarge our territories and advance the Kingdom. As mine continues to grow, I’m very thankful for my core, my home, my peeps and my homies.
Appreciate you all and thankful to be able to lead.
1 Chronicles 4:10
Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.
