Good mid-week turnout where 19 men gathered to conquer the summit of Mt KillaMuggaFugga.

QIC went a little nostalgic with his Preblast, as he was reminded of a classic slack post where he got a little overly excited when challenging the group. Two claps to the real OG’s that caught it. Ironically, it was for the Mount Afton Challenge, which QIC received the first notification for the Jan ‘24 event, this morning. Get in running shape boys, it’s a great event for a great cause, Nami Cabarrus, who help those struggling with mental health.

Also had to give a nod to our brothers of F3 Downrange Kilimanjaro. They did a pretty awesome thing this week….climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. They did it to raise money ($120k) and awareness for clean water across parts of Africa. You can read all about their mission here:

All of us have mountains to climb. Families, jobs, goals, dreams or just plain getting through the day. Sometimes the journey will be hard. Sometimes a breeze. Sometimes breaks will come your way when you least expect it, bringing moments of respite and refreshment. Along the journey, don’t forget to take a moment here and there and enjoy the views, and to see how far you’ve come. You’re doing great compared to so many others! Most importantly, find someone to do it with, and in a way that helps others.

When we show up each morning, it’s not just for us as individuals, it’s for the collective good of the group. We all need the encouragement the accountability, and the push. Keep pushing. Keep climbing. Keep pulling someone up along with you. Enjoy life.

I appreciate each of you and the support and push you give to this “old man”.

“What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘God bless it! God bless it!’”
