Partner up, one partner does 5 Merks, the other partner holds plank, rotate until exhaustion. Lunge walk around circle after falling, until last group collapses.
Catfish and Gooney gave a good effort, but ultimately the three headed monster of Mayweather, Brickyard and Tombstone prevailed. Great job.
Mosey to 5/3 Lot:
Staying with same partners, one partner runs up the lot and around the bank for one loop while other partner performs the following for a cumulative total for the partner group:
100 Dry Docks
200 LBCs
300 Air Squats
Mary:
A few stretches and QIC had to show out a little for our newest member with some Monkey Humpers. You got to show to know.

Moleskin:
Saturday represents 2 years since I officially started posting in Concord. Anvil was the Q that day and introduced the merkin/plank partner challenge. A little nod to a real one, miss you brother and hope you can join us again soon.
I started us off at Coltrane, where I was first introduced to F3 back in 2016. I was glad El Ab showed, as I wouldn’t have ever been out here with out his encouragement and invite. Another nod to an OG. Psycho T and Backdraft were there that day as well, other than that, I don’t remember much. But I do remember the welcome. Hopefully Nickleback felt it today. This is a great group, the love is real. F3 has a motto, that I edited, “No Man Left Behind, except in Concord, they’ll catch you at coffee”. Nickleback learned that’s not the case always with this group, as he got sent to the wrong coffee house to check out Elvira at Holy Grind all by his lonesome. Glad you made it back. “Machu Gotchu”!
Q had to call an audible early on due to the large number of PAX. After consulting with Spud, who’s always ready to lend some sound advice, the game plan changed. Much appreciated. Had planned to hit Mugga, but with 23 strong, needed to spread out in the 5/3 lot. I chose to do a partner wod as to really exemplify what this group and F3 is all about, being there to lend support and encouragement to your brother. Some go harder than others, and that’s great, but knowing someone is there to move you along, even if it’s with a good ribbing means something. I’m sure LMU appreciated all the Merks and Dry Docks QIC chose. You’re a machine brother, glad you are on the rebound.
Congrats to Mayweather, Tomby and Brickyard for winning the Merk/Plank challenge. Cat & Marlboro gave it the old college try, but it wasn’t to be.
Firechicken and Gooney finished up the loop and Dora first. Congrats to them as well.
Press & Porter….it just feels right. Where else can you sip coffee, listen to dirty jokes and watch a furry purring in the window? The F3 Concord 30 for 30 script is writing itself. In my best Tom Rinaldi voice, “What if I told you how a Subaru helped a Gooney through transition?”…..This cast of characters continues to develop, and I love watching it unfold. Lots of young guns are showing and lowering the average age, that’s a good thing. Each of you are unique in your own way and have helped me grow physically, spiritually and mentally. You all are the epitome of Iron Sharpening Iron.
As sharp as you are, is it that hard for someone to PLEASE shut the DAMN (Earmufffs) door, the cats going to get out!
It’s an honor to lead you guys and to be part of this group. I look forward to the mornings I get to spend with you all, and miss the days I can’t. Until the next one.
In His Service,
Mayhem
