10 total PAX showed up Saturday morning for Concord F3 Football tryouts.

Warmup (SSH, ISTs, and Loose Change Kiawah Island Style)

The Thang:

Start at OTC with block work, curls, press, skull crushers

Mosey to Coltrane Web’s soaking wet field blocks in tow.

Set up for Weave Drill, sideways, in and out of row of blocks, bookended by 10 merks on each side, holding plank until drill complete.

Suicides and relay drills

Skills test with passing routes (buttonhook, crossing, and post routes).  Successful routes, one burpee, failures, 3 burpees.

Moleskin:

Not bad for a bunch of middle aged wannabes.

Passing drills were average to above average with MVPs Catfish and PR.    Not likely going to make any teams soon though.

Very much enjoyed the fun and games, like 60+ burpees when all said and done, and nobody even knew they were doing them.
