10 men, enticed with the promise of much running, posted to a nice sunny 40 degree morning. No Passporters, likely due to the promise of much running.

DAT THANG
Four corner workout, starting with 20 dry docks at the corner of Spring and Buffalo, then 20 squats at the corner of Union and Buffalo, then mosey down Union back towards town hit 20 LBCs in cadence at the “corner” of Grove and Union, and return to OCT and grab a block for 20 curl/overhead presses back at the AO. Repeato, but shorten the block each time, with the first two corners at Donnie, then Academy, Marsh, and Franklin. The Q also offered a “Franklin every time” modification that nobody took advantage of.
Time called around 7:26 when all pax were returning. No time for Mary, and we prayed for Neverland’s family and his mother in particular.
MOLESKIN
Half the Pax got all five blocks, half were slightly short, Frosty led the way in what is surely his longest preparation for the P200. Q got 4 blocks, eschewing Marsh for Franklin, and got 4.82. Most got right around 5, with those who finished the entire circuit getting right at 5.5. TP was ripping things on the bike as well. Q would like to think the promise of run heavy did not disappoint. Met up with a group of long runners at coffee, Tomby, Hopsy, Catfish, Luthor, Loveboat, where we learned about Tombstone’s dirty Myrtle secret. Good to have Java’s brother join us, come on back from Tajikistan to get a name!
Enjoy the days you can do this, because it won’t last forever. Cartilage and tendons will grow old and weary, bones will crack, livers will become fatty and cirrhotic. Do it right now, because you can. Last year, when we ran the Palmetto, often when I do F3, people ask us why we get up at 0500, why we are running across the state of South Carolina, why it is we do what we do, the answer is…because we can. Thanks for helping be the reason that I now can.
