7 men showed up at OCT to evaluate their options on a 50 degree overcast morn.
Warm up
- mosey to parking lot next to Webb field for
- Slapjacks x 20
- IST x 15
- Loose chg x 10
- arm circles
- Mosey up academy to the portico of the Boys & Girls club for
THANG
There was a board with 5 exercises:
- LBC x 50
- SSH x 40
- Squat x 30
- Merkin x 20
- Core Killer x 10
Start by doing all 5 exercises unless you try to get car dealerships to use your bank for financing, and then choose one of three routes.
Tombstone’s trot- Lap around the Club parking lot. When you get back, do all 5 exercises in the board.
Mayweather’s Mosey – Lap around the block that the Club sits on, down academy, Alexander, stop for 20 dips and 20 derkins, back up Elm and to the board, pick 3 of the 5 exercises.
Luthor’s Long Legged Scamper – Run to the Glenn Center, through the covered area of the school, and at the circle, stopping to do 20 boxcutters and 20 dry docks, head back down Marsh and back down Spring to the Club.
Mix and match or pick whatever route you want.
Time called around 0718 to head back to OCT for some shitty broga.
COT
We prayed for Dean who is traveling to Houston to do some role playing with his girlfriend. We also prayed for Jim Helms and all the children he lifted up over the years. Also, those in Turkey and Syria after the earthquake.
Moleskin
Everyone got what they wanted, or at least what they needed. QIC got around three and a half, others did similar. Ultimately, everyone powered through and it was a solid beatdown with a lot of different topics to chat about. Pure silence when all pax did the first set of exercises, likely out of wonder that we somehow made it through the week without doing a single burpee.
Proud of Bozey, I know he’s dealing with a chronically sore foot, but he’s out these busting his ass as often as he can. Much respect for both of our respects in attendance, as well as our 40 somethings. In 2 days, I’d have been the only hate. Java joined us for coffee after cranking out 12 miles. The topic of conversation centered around Luthor trying to explain that the print newspaper is on its way back, and everyone telling him why that opinion is absurd. All in all, another great morning with a really good group of guys. Way better than what most people do with their mornings.
