Speakerboxxx workout with both songs about Jesus and songs about other made up Xmas junk like Santa, the Grinch, and attempted date rape.  I’ve done this before, you run a lap and then return to the speaker.  If a song about Jesus is on, do 10 curls, 10 push presses, 10 skull crushers, because Jesus is strong.  If you return and some other Christmas crap is on, do 10 WWIIs and 10 LBCs in cadence, because you need to keep your core tight around Christmas time.  The wrinkle today was that the pax had the option to take a short lap (down the Carolina Courts driveway, right back up the stairs) or a longer lap (running the block around Carolina Courts, just short of a 1/2 mile), most pax opted for a mixture of both.  Many wonderful songs came on and Tomby made sure to comment about each.  QIC initially had Pentatonix on there, but after listening to one of those songs, it just seemed like more of a Burn Boot Camp thing.

After 10-12 songs, time called at 0607 and trudge back to OCT with blocks for

Prayers for the student at West Cabarrus that took their own life, as well as the Holshouser family who lost the head of household to the same.  Prayers for Mayhem’s mother’s broken fibula and declining health.  Praises for F3Concord’s outstanding support of this year’s Xmas family.  Despite our reputation, we are a hell of a group of guys.

Moleskin:

Xmas speakerbox’s 3rd year in existence.  This year, I was glad to throw in the higher running option, pax seemed to vary between 1.5-3 miles.  I always enjoy listening to some lame Christmas Carols, everyone should be well into the spirit, and dudes, it’s time to go shopping.  Buy your wives and kids something nice.  Buy some meat to cook.  Support your fellow man.  Remember Jesus is why we all do this, so honor him this year.  We have a lot to be thankful for, so let’s be thankful for it, because we are blessed.  The holiday season is always stressful for many, but thanks to the support of my family and my F3 bros, it’s a hell of a lot easier with the outlet you all provide.  Not all men have this, and we should count ourselves lucky and spread the blessings.
