0530 on a 50 degree October morning brought out 13 of Rolling Stone’s finest. A quick disclaimer was given which was followed by a mosey to the middle school front entrance.

The Thang
The pax were anxiously waiting to find out what was in store for this Beatdown, not knowing, but anticipating, potential props of some sort. The reveal… Jugs, stashed in the corner; 30 water-filled milk jugs to be exact. YHC was thankful that there were enough, as there was no back up plan for a group of more than 15.
Pax partnered up and one would do step-ups while holding 2 jugs while the other would slow mosey around the round-about with jugs in various holds.
5 Rounds:
1) Single jug held out front
2) 2 jugs held overhead (the lucky ones with leaky jugs found out who they were)
3) 2 jugs out to the side (T-formation)
4) 2 jug duck walk
5) 2 jugs held out front
Next – Pax formed 2 lines in the front lot and we did a Wood-Chipper Indian relay with 5 jugs being passed down the line. It was a close race and surprisingly, no jugs were harmed.
Next – Pax lined up at the base of the hill by the steps and we did a 10 -1 Ladder with Squats, quadrophellia up, overhead press, run back down, all with 2 jugs.
Next – Pax formed a circle and a standing Mason-Jug Twist was attempted. This was an attempt at some creative new material. It was somewhat successful, as the pax tried to comply with the confusing instructions. Worth a shot…
Recovered the unclaimed jugs and mosied back to the entrance of the greenway for a variation of Monkey Humpers with jugs being integrated. That sucked!
Mary
Not much time remaining for mary, so a quick set of WWII’s with a single jug was completed.
Recover! Recover!

Moleskin
- Working out with jugs brings the middle school boy out in the pax. Jug puns were in abundance.
- Pax appreciated the freedom to talk without having to count. This allow for much more complaining, which means mission accomplished by YHC.
- Quads were smoked by all.
- Life Alert paid his 100 squat pain-alty, for the “don’t be the 6” fantasy football league. This was not the beatdown to have to pay that ahead of.
Until next time.
