PRAYERS

F3 CARPEX Chipper, a very fit dude who went into cardiac arrest at a beat down and had to be revived. Now responsive in the hospital finally, but a long way to go.

Tombstone’s mom, besides the obvious reasons also because she goes under the knife tomorrow morning

Hipbone as he travels abroad

Tom Daniel, from my Meals on Wheels route who just passed away. A graduate and die hard fan of the Virginia Tech Hokies who was always such a joy to talk to. As Hops goes to his first VT game tonight with FC, I hope the pull it out for Tom.

MOLESKIN

I took the Q today because I’ve been struggling with a lot the last couple weeks and there’s no medicine like a good Q. Two fitting things for me this morning, that weren’t even planned:

  1. Nary a streetlight was working this morning, creating pitch black darkness.
  2. Our eyes adjusted just enough to follow each other through it.

Life works that way too. The darkness can overcome you, even hopelessly envelope you. But if you hang in there your eyes will adjust, and if you stick together you can lead each other through it. Keep picking each other up and leading each other through it. And live your lives a quarter mile at a time, like Dom Toretto.

Happy Fall Y’all!
