Moleskin:
1. Seven of Concord’s most elite Pax gathered at ASEC on a humid, 72 degree morning to endure the second 1776 Challenge. While not an original idea, this workout was first used three years ago in 2019 . Spud dug up the backblast in the archives, which TP had lost, and found Tomby, Homey, Lex, Spud, Cupid, and Mighty Mouseparticipated in the inaugural 1776 workout.
2. Each Pax led a station which kept everyone engaged in an otherwise brutal beatdown! A good amount of chatter as we began to accumulate reps towards the end and nary a dry shirt either. Q was surprised and delighted the 1776 reps took almost an hour to complete with just a little time for Mary at the end.
According to Q’s watch, 2.4 miles cumulative runningtoday.
3. Prayers for Bozeman, as he was swimming during our workout to raise money for the Ella Floyd Fund and raised over $3000. Congrats Boze! You da man. As we celebrate July 4th, never forget the sacrifices made and courage it took for our forefathers to forge an independent nation based on laws and the consent of the people. Much blood has been shed to create and protect our form of government which we must never take for granted!Prayers for our nation and our leaders as we try to overcome our present difficulties and move forward.
