DAY 3: Again the weather was just as the Q ordered to help with the mission of transforming these men into mighty warriors.  TheBurgh was back as the only subject to complete three days of trials and testing thus far. A certain Pax promised to show up from daddy duty but let us all down. (I won’t name any names, but it rhymes with Pig Snow.)  We were blessed with the second coming of FNG Nathan to pick up the slack of the promise breaker.

After a review of the disclaimer, we moseyed over to the brick pile and filled each hand with as bricks as we could carry, which was one per hand, and the returned to the corner.  YHC presented the Weinke of the day and went over the rules.  Stack the following exercises (start with 1-2, then 1-2-3, then 1-2-3-4 and so on. If you finish, unstack the list, or as it turned out, just keep moving in some way on another.)

The List:

1. 4 Laps around the short median (bricks in hand)
2. 5 Burpees (bricks in hand)
3. 9 Down dog mercians
4. 20 Curl-press-crush
5. 22.5 Freddy Mercs (1-2 is one)
6. 45 Bent over rows (bricks in hand)
7. 54 LBCs (straight count)

Most men completed the list and a maybe a little more just in time to return the bricks to the pile and do some short broga/stretching. SirTopEm had to be told what it meant to unstack the list, multiple times and finally was just reminded to “just keep moving”.  TheBurgh, Schnitzel and Barnabas got in a little extra work. Schnitzel had to be reminded how to count on a couple of occasions.  YHC just barely finished in time.  Cupid was determined to finish the beatdown and returned his brick after the COT.  FNG Ricochet worked hard and kept moving the whole time.  All men put in a great effort, especially given the heat/humidity. Even better, no one complained. Oh that’s right, Backdraft wasn’t there.
