10 brave souls donned their finest linens, downed a few mint juleps and stumbled into The Ridge for a beatdown that was previously promised (with almost 5% certainty) to contain no Mike Tysons. Spoiler: Mike Tysons were in there. 0530, the disclaimer was given, fanfare blared and off we went.

Around the start of this mosey, Minnow brought up Rich Strike’s improbable victory so YHC decided to take us to Churchill Downs pre-Mary. Once we got to the start line we had a brief lead-in then jailbreak to the cars. What a rush. Birdcage was back out there looking like Birdcage. Ripken was pushing hard but nobody and I mean NOBODY was catching Dr Lecter. Great showing out there!

• Welcome back to my Buddy @Woodstock. It’d been a minute since we’d had a post workout coffee and you were killing it out there.
• Battery was leading the pack out there on the BLIMPS for a minute, well, behind Kojak of course.
• Lecter and Ripken, I’m always happy to see you two. It’s amazing to witness your bond. I’m also glad that school’s almost over.
• T-Claps to Wexler and Birdcage for the pre-run and hard work after. Sorry I lied about the MTs.
• Minnow was out there running fast and smooth, like he does. It’s a thing of beauty to witness.
• Zin, you’re getting stronger every time you post. Thanks for sticking with it! (And laughing at all of us lining up at the gas pumps.)
