10 stallions cranked it out.  A Weird kinda cold morning but not cold enough to stop our endeavors.  Here’s how it got down:

WARM UP

-Mosey to rehab

Leave rehab lot per usual and mosey…LEFT…down to the end of the road to start

THANG

Decent little circuit comprising approximately 3/4 of a mile.  At the end of Kingsport (AKA Rehab Road) do 20 Dry Docks, Mosey back to the entrance to ASEC where people fly uncontrollably through the grass and do 10 core killers.  Mosey all the way up the sidewalk to the mushroom tip (the natives call it Egypt) and hit 20 squats.  Keep going and then cut left in order to head back towards the entrance to ASEC for 10 more core killers, then back down to the Kingsport cul de sac for the Dry Docks and repeato until time was quasi called.

The Q then lined up the pax as they came in at the ASEC parking lot for a

MINI THANG

Differently abled sign sui…gasser

Start at the edge of the lot and do a suicide running to each of four reserved parking signs, at each of the four spots farthest from the beginning spot.  Totaled around .2 miles, but got QIC over 3 miles, which is what I wanted.  Anytime I do little bullshit like that, it is for a personal reason, but that’s the benefit of being the Q.  Then to…

I called it Pound It because when I did the initial measurement for the circuit, it looked like a backwards british pound.  It now looks more like a stick figure T-Rex with a misshapen head trying to do a WWII, but it was still a damn good workout.  3+ miles in the bank and some good repetitions to boot.  Most pax got between 2.5 and 3.5 revolutions which gave some heavy mileage given the short distance from the AO.  I was tired, I still am tired, but you gotta get after it while you can.

CHECK IN ON YOUR BROTHERS, F3 and non.  You never know what others could be going through. We are here not only to keep each other accountable, but to keep each other safe, sane, and uplifted.  You are stronger than you know, both mentally and emotionally, but sometimes you need support to realize that strength.  I was told this morning that this group is solid gold, and I couldn’t agree more.  The support we give each other, through shit talking, through accountability boosting, and through giving an outlet other than spouses and co-workers is invaluable.

Kudos to Popeye for his bravery this morning.  We’re here for you bro.

Come to Hip’s tonight to get some 2nd F love, and bourbon. I’ll be there.  Don’t get saucy behind the wheel or you’ll have to call El Ab, or worse, your family will have to call Tombstone.

Much love,
