November Murph
All Harrisburg BackblastsNovember 29th, 2021
Seven true and tough men and one true and tough 2.0 ventured out the Stallings Rd Park despite not knowing how the morning’s Murph would unfold. We had to modify as necessary since the track and playground were off limits. Here’s how it went down
THE THANG
1 mile run – run to the bus parking lot beside the school. Take 3 laps around the lot and head back to Stallings Park
100 pullups – we found equipment to perform real pullups
200 pushups
300 squats 1 mile run
MOLESKIN
- Great effort by all this morning. Everyone was giving maximum effort and it showed
- Greater effort by OZ and Kojak for rucking the Murph. That’s staying true to the Murph. Great job gentlemen.
- Really good to see Ripken out and giving maximum effort. I caught him off guard when I asked him his rank, (the scoutmaster in me coming out). Once he understood, I found out he is First Class, just waiting on time in rank to move to Star. Keep up the great work Ripken!
- Prayers for Hammerhead and Banjo Boy’s father-in-law.
- Coffeteria discussions centered mostly on the movies Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles and Christmas Vacation. Not sure why, but the conversations kept coming back to the words “the blessing, the blessing”, Maybe Dr. Lecter or Wexler can clue me in. Deadhead did a touch and go. I will say, he cuts a dashing figure in his uniform. I do feel safer about flying knowing he’s a pilot.
- Kudos to Sheepdog on picking up that the run was more than 1 mile. Not by much but you are correct sir. Good job noticing
- Would have been sooner with the post, but I had 3 3.0s to contend with today. I think I had at least 2 WOs today…
- Honor to lead this fine group of young men.
